The largest single project to date for John has been for The Department of Defense, a massive two-year interior and exterior lighting retrofit program at the Naval Base on Guam.
John has served dozens of nationwide corporate clients in food and beverage industry, performed a wide range of manufacturing plant energy efficiency installations, as well as scores of lighting, EV charging station installs, and energy efficiency upgrades in distribution and retail centers from Anchorage, Alaska to Miami, Florida including the international market.

Peter J. Hyde – San Diego, CA, Regional Senior Project Manager/Lead Developer
Peter brings more than 13 years of lighting retrofit and project management experience to Pilgrim Energy.
Peter has been involved with project management for large industrial, commercial, government, and retail accounts throughout the United States throughout his career.
Peter’s role with Pilgrim Energy is critical. He performs lighting audits, and expertly coordinates retrofit operations for multiple jobs with efficiency.
He attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and ABC Electrical School in San Diego.
Mark Salerno – Dallas, TX Regional Project Manager/Senior Developer
An industry expert with more than 30 years of successful experience in Energy Efficient Commercial Development, Mark Salerno has begun work with Pilgrim Energy to broaden our regional presence in the Southwestern states.
Mark began his career with the electric utility industry on the cutting edge of energy efficient residential and commercial program development that later became the industry standard. Moving to Dallas he grew his previous company in Dallas to 150 personnel, with 6 offices in 12 states. He has subsequently consulted to commercial, Retail, Health Care including USMC, Navy and Air Force Military bases around the country in the areas of energy efficiency, energy service development and infrastructure improvements.
Mark is most fulfilled when helping people to grow professionally and personally. His vision and ability to nurture relationships lead to long-term solutions and success, he also offers both clients and our company an exceptional professional service, and the most ethical values in leading edge energy efficient technologies available today.
